November 2020 OTA Today - Intellectual Property and Data Rights

Nov. 12, 2020 -- This online workshop will address the nuances of acquiring rights to technologies created under Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). Since traditional data rights clauses in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) don't apply to OTAs, it's important to make sure the Government acquires the rights its needs to technologies developed under these agreements. Vicki Allums, DAU's Learning Director for Intellectual Property, and subject matter experts from the Services will discuss these issues using real-life examples.
