We invite you to participate in WarU’s ongoing web series of “How to Improve Cost Estimation” at the upcoming event: AI Strategy and Cost Estimate Planning, featuring Dr. Charles Loelius and Ms. Maura Lapoff, from National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). They will discuss how the NNSA’s Office of Programming, Analysis, and Evaluation (PA&E) developed an in-house Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy and Implementation Plan to tie AI directly to its underlying mission, outlining both priorities for the organization through strategic imperatives, and foundational pillars to drive AI excellence to achieve success. They will also discuss NNSA PA&E’s current progress meeting the plan’s objectives regarding AI in cost estimation. They will examine the challenges faced and the comprehensive efforts required to improve agility for cost estimators by using these new tools as directed by leadership to both improve decision making and make analysts more agile.
